Third-district Presiding Judge Thomas Matthews denied Judge Murphy’s/Grand Jury Independent Prosecutor Campion's combined request to dispense with oral argument in the felony prosecution of Judge Murphy. The reason for the denial? Judge Matthews stated it is important this case is "transparent and open to the public." Thus, Alaska Grand Jury Association thinks it very important this time around to get everyone possible to attend oral arguments on Murphy's motion to dismiss.
