What is your take on the status of our government? Have they gotten too corrupt or are they doing a good job? Are the courts abiding by the laws that they were set up to enforce or are they doing a good job. I would venture to say that AGJA would not exist if things like SCO 1993 were ethical. We need to support the Convention of States. It is not a right or left thing it is supporting a government for the people, by the people, accountable to the people.
It is the solution to the problems in DC where our government has forgotten they work for the people. They are paid for by the people. Consider signing this petition. consider bringing back accountability to the people we elect to represent us.
Taken from the COS website: Article V of the U.S. Constitution gives states the power to call a convention to propose amendments. It takes 34 states to call the convention and 38 to ratify any amendments that are proposed. Our convention would only allow the states to discuss amendments that, “limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, impose fiscal restraints, and place term limits on federal officials.”
WHY CALL AN ARTICLE V CONVENTION?
Simple: to bring power back to the states and the people, where it belongs. Unelected bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. shouldn’t be allowed to make sweeping decisions that impact millions of Americans. But right now, they do. So it all boils down to one question: Who do you think should decide what’s best for you and your family? You, or the feds? We’d vote for the American people every single time. We the people deserve the transparency and accountability of of those we elect to REPRESENT us.
