Anchor Point meeting of Alaska Grand Jurors Association – public welcome! Join us and enjoy good food as well as an educational presentation about Alaska’s legal system.
Where? Angry Salmon! (former Anchor River Inn)
When? Friday, December 13 6-8 pm.
Why? To answer questions about Alaska’s Grand Juries, and explain what the public can do about Alaskan judges permanently suspending a Kenai Grand Jury recommendation concerning corruption by Alaskan judges – made after the Grand Jury investigated this issue for nearly a year.
Article 1, Section 8 of Alaska’s Constitution:
“The power of Grand Juries to investigate and make recommendations concerning the public welfare or safety shall never be suspended.”
Join members of the Alaska Grand Jurors Association for an educational forum about Alaska’s judicial system. We are all entitled to equal access to ethical justice under the law.
